Charlie Chan Cheeseburgers, Root Beer Floats and Murder

Review of the book

I grew up listening to Charlie Chan on the radio and later watching it on TV. He was a character I respected and enjoyed so when I saw this book, I wanted to read it. I found the story line to be believable and held my attention. Actually, I found it very difficult to put the book down.
I have read most of this author’s previous books before and thoroughly enjoyed them. Unlike some of his other works, I would not recommend this book for children although teenagers as well as adults should find it worth the read. There is plenty of excitement, intrigue and action in this book centered primarily on WWII. It also introduces some of the history of Chan’s early years which I found most interesting.

I would recommend you read this book!
